Week 5

  1. Requirement Analysis: Understand stakeholder needs, define functional and non-functional requirements, identify constraints, and conduct a feasibility study. Outcome: Requirements Specification Document.
  2. Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate project viability through technical, economic, operational, and legal/ethical checks. Outcome: Feasibility Report.
  3. Design & Implementation: Create detailed hardware and software designs, select components, and build the system. Outcome: Fully developed embedded system.
  4. Integration & Testing: Combine hardware and software, perform various tests (functional, performance, security, etc.) to ensure quality. Outcome: Bug-free, high-quality product.
  5. Product Release & Marketing: Launch the product, provide user documentation, and execute marketing strategies. Outcome: Successfully launched product.
  6. Operations, Maintenance & Upgrades: Monitor performance, fix bugs, maintain hardware, and update software. Outcome: Reliable and up-to-date system.

Week 6

Final project

Our design concept is to use vibration sensors to display the content of the OLED through the vibration generated when a person touches the floor.

here is us code

here is final pre
 this is our final prototype
Our concept is an interactive space where we have used an embedded system that detects users footsteps and outputs a message on the displayed screen
We have used a 1.3” OLED display module which is attached to the wall and a vibration sensor which is attached beneath the floor to make it a functional prototype
This is a demonstration of how this space can be interactive
The LED display initially shows a “hello” message, when the user steps on the floor, the displayed message changes into a text saying “I love you” with a heart animation
