Application Design1/Lo-Fi App Design Prototype project 3
Week10: mvp (Minimum Viable Product)
With MVP product can save the preliminary expenditure budget, is a necessary process, with the lowest value to understand the user needs, according to the feedback continue to adjust and optimise the product, gradually improve the function and experience, rather than a one-time investment of large amounts of money to develop a complete product, also not with their own subjective to judge the user's needs, this method not only reduces the risk of the early stage, but also improve the product's ultimate success! probability
TIMELINE FOR PROJECT
Week11&12:Developing a prototype
This time I am making a prototype of Yudao Dictionary, I need to use figma to design it, in the design process, I firstly check the related instructional video on bilibili, and then combined with MR. zeon's instruction on the week11 course, I have made a simple design.

In my design, I needed to create a low-fidelity prototype of a dictionary model.
I created several images myself and added them to the frame to make the page less monotonous.
For other icons, I used Google Symbols for insertion.
On the app's initial screen, I created the login interface, the forgot password interface, and the new user registration interface, all designed to make it easier for users to understand and navigate.
On the main page, I added three main options: Home, Camera, and Account. For the Home page, I only included a search bar. On the Camera page, I incorporated an image recognition translation feature. In the Account section, users can choose to log out and provide feedback. The remaining tasks involve creating the search interface and displaying the search results.
I also added small cards on the initial screen to highlight the unique features of the app.
To avoid a single-functionality design, I also added a "Wordbook" feature, allowing users to save their favourite words for easy review later.
I also incorporated a journal reading feature, which allows users to improve their English language sense and reading skills while using the app.
