Experiential Design / Task3

MVP Prototype (20%) Name: wangsai Student ID : 0367388 Course: Bachelor Of Interactive spatial Design (Hons)  Week 8 - Week 10 Todo:   Processing: This is the Figma mockup I previously created for Task 2, utilising Taylor's theme colours. It comprises the Map Overview Page, AR Camera Page, and Timetable Page. The most practical features are the AR and timetable functions: simply locate your course timetable within the timetable, then point the AR camera at campus signage to determine your classroom's floor level. ED_Figma_preview ARCamera Page Timetable Page Map overview Figma Link: ED_Task3_MVP Subsequently, I shall import the photographs I require into Vuforia Engine for use within Unity's ARImage component. Origin Vuforia Image Next, we'll create a project within Unity. Scenes I first created four scenes, namely: ARCamera (for identification purposes) Enter (to enter the software and commence operation) Map (View campus locations) TimeTable This is the Enter interfa...

Advanced Modelling & Animation / Assigment1

Assignment 1 Todo: Processing: I modified a pirate ship based on the one in the theme park, creating a different kind of pirate ship that I call a "pirate ship that can be boarded and disembarked", which is more futuristic. This is another show of mine called "Flying Ferrari". And this is the observation deck I made. Reflection: Because this blog post was written quite late, some of my original files were missing during later modifications, so I can only use images from the UE5 engine as references. I think I should take better care of the original files next time.

Advanced Modelling & Animation / Assignment2

Assignment 2 Todo: Processing: Preview: Reflection: In Task 2, I've been troubled by a persistent issue: setting the object's centre as the origin in Blender causes the model to compress into a single mass. Subsequently, when importing into Unreal Engine, I must manually piece it back together one component at a time, which is extremely time-consuming. I wonder if there's a more convenient method to resolve this.

Experiential Design / Assignment1 Trending Experience

Assignment1 Trending Experience Todo: Task 1 helps you explore current Augmented Reality (AR) trends and understand marker-based , markerless , and location-based experiences before choosing your final project idea. Research AR Trends Experiment Reflect Propose 3 Ideas Processing: Research AR Trends I have identified three commonly used AR applications on the market to serve as my inspiration. 1. Apple Ar :   These applications combine the limitless choices of online shopping with the “hands-on experience” of offline retail, ultimately aiming to eliminate consumer uncertainty during purchases. By overlaying virtual product models onto real-world environments at a 1:1 scale, users can intuitively assess size, style, and outfit compatibility, enabling more informed purchasing decisions. User input:  Previewing an orange iPhone 17 Pro Max on my computer keyboard App output: 2. Particle Cam: The core value of this type of application lies not in “previewing products” or “...
